Every city, county and state has different requirements for installing Steel Building Kits. We recommend checking with your local zoning and planning commission to see which requirements your building needs to meet. Keep in mind that these requirements are stricter if you plan to make your steel building livable.

The cost of a renovation project depends on numerous things. The most obvious is to ensure that the materials and job scope are consistent across all estimates. Go back and ask the contractor for clarification if you don’t understand anything. Do not include that contractor in subsequent bids if you are unable to obtain satisfactory written results. The quality of the work affects expenses and is difficult to describe in a written estimate. Normally, the only way to verify this portion of the price difference is to contact references and/or go to jobs the contractor has finished. Verify references for past projects to evaluate how well they have held up over time.
